Foxes can often be seen crossing the ford in front of the Bird Hide at Hersey in either direction. What is surprising is that any birds in the vicinity never seem to be too alarmed by the presence of a Fox. Equally, the Foxes don’t seem to take much notice of the birds. They seem far more intent on crossing the water as quickly as possible and then disappearing into the undergrowth.
